Training Options

Group Class (Dog School)

Are offered for all breeds of dog at our training centre’s on the Sunshine Coast. Our courses include unlimited sessions with the ability to train at any centre (not just the one you joined at) as often as you like. This gives you the flexibility to train as often as your lifestyle permits and take time off whenever you want.

At The Canine Classroom you are paying for a standard of training, not the number of classes you attend!

Live-in Training (Boarding School for Dogs)

Is designed for those with “too much dog” to deal with themselves OR just find they don’t have enough time in the day to train their dog.

Boarding School means your dog will stay at the ‘Pet Resort’ under our care and training guidance. We do ALL the training which is tai- lored around your specific needs. Included in this package is:

• Free Initial consultation to investigate your situation • Free Pick up & Delivery • A comprehensive one-on-one lesson at the completion of the

program in your home • Opportunity to participate in group classes at

The Canine Classroom Training Centres at the conclusion of the program

Your dogs needs will be cared for in large spacious runs with trampoline beds, daily training and exercise, food* and water. Current C5 vaccination is required.

Fast Track

This option combines the flexibility of attending group classes, with the benefits of ONE week at Boarding School. This program is not for the faint hearted but it WILL help pull your rebellious dog back into line and set you on the right path for success. We deal with your major issues and you complete the training yourself.

Fast Track is the best way to deal with an; aggressive, dominant, over reactive or excitable dog!

Home Training (Private Lessons)

Is a very popular way to help iron out the ‘little things’ you’re struggling with, that group sessions would be too much for. We come to you or you come to us and we work on manageable solutions to help remedy your problem. We can also structure an “at home” training and walking service if that is more convenient for you.

Home Training (Behaviour Consultations)

This is a whole separate issue as we are likely to be dealing with significant behavioural problems that need serious investigation and assessment to deal with by a qualified Behaviourist.

Compulsive Disorders, Anxiety, Aggression, etc can make the dog and the owners life together quite difficult. ‘Behavioural Consultations’ are assessed and quoted on a case by case basis.
