Without doubt, this is the most important part of your dogs training as it helps develop a; calm, relaxed and confident dog, that doesn’t ‘overreact’ in the wrong situation.

Socialisation and Confidence training forms part of every class you attend at The Canine Classroom. As mentioned previously, an obedient dog is not the same as a ‘well behaved dog’, therefore we need to teach our dogs ‘how to behave’ in the situations they will encounter in the human world.

Without adequate or appropriate Socialisation & Confidence Development we can end up with ‘reactive’ or ‘nervous’ dogs that don’t know how to behave appropriately. No amount of obedience can fix these kinds of issues. This is one of the main differences you will encounter when training at The Canine Classroom. With over 10 years experience in this field, we can assist with your dogs Socialisation & Confidence Development.

It includes things like; dog to dog socialisation, food refusal training, impulse control, dealing with distractions, aggression control techniques, confidence development, drive development & control, etc.
